I began this at about 12:00 PM today, and finished attaching the limbs and head at about 11:00 PM tonight. It has two layers. Underneath the stretchy tan skin is a stiff white material. each piece had to be cut in white fabric, assembled, then covered in tan stretch fabric. It is stuffed with poly-fill.
All stitched on my "stolen" machine; a 1975 model kenmore from sears, jacked from my parent's home on 1-13-11. Tomorrow after mass, I will stitch on the ears, tail and fur. After that I will make her eyes and clothing. When finished she will go up for sale on my daughter's Etsy account. Not sure what color her fur and eyes will be, nor have I decided on her clothing.
You can find her and other handmade items for sale by us on Aubry's Etsy store
On a side note. Toothless, the Night Fury dragon is nearly finished. All i have to do is stitch on his head. I stuffed him, and installed his eyes yesterday.
