About Me

My photo
Roughly 1/3 of a century old. I am a father of two, and a very lucky husband to my beautiful wife Jennifer. We are all very active, and love the outdoors. We camp, hike, and geocache as a family. we have 16 or so pets, ranging from a black widow to toads to snakes canines and everything in-between. We are active Catholics and attend mass regularly at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Amarillo Texas. My wife is very active in the Parish, and volunteers with our friends "The Sisters of Prayer Town" the Nuns of the order "Disciples of The Lord Jesus Christ". Jennifer has had Leukemia for about 6 years now, and has been kicking it's A$$. Now the time has come for a bone marrow transplant. Pray for us, and God Bless.

My wife received her 1st communion!!

Friday, March 25th 2011: Jennifer became a member of the Catholic Church. She is critically ill, and was received in a year ahead of her projected date. Father Arthur Rodriguez of St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral in Amarillo Preformed the Sacrament with her, at Northwest Texas Hospital in room 463.

She beat me to the Sacrament! I've been attending St. Mary's for 12 years, and in RCIA for 9. She has been attending with me for 4 years and been in RCIA for 1 year. We, along with our two children were due to take first communion together at Easter 2012.

May the Lord bless and keep her, and may his grace shine upon her. I, and all of our friends & family are praying that she be healed of her illnesses.

Thank you for any prayers
Stephen

This is an article about Our town, Jennifer's Oncology Doctor & and interview with one of our close church friend's sister who is also with Dr. Lim.

Very interesting stuff. The man is quite impressive.

Jennifer & I are currently at the hospital. She's doing better, but quite weak. She's gonna do this!
